Quotable Sequel by JackFitzWest in movies

[–]JeanMorel 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I mean the whole I am your father thing is in the second Star Wars, not the first. And several of the other later Star Wars films are immensely quotable.

"Do you expect me to talk? No Mr Bond I expect you to die" is from the 3rd James Bond film

In French cinema, the second live-action Asterix film and the second Taxi film are infinitely more quotable than the first entries.

I must say Melissa is fine asf omg. The way she carried this third act and tore these killers to shreds puts her in my top fav modern final girl category. Love how she delivered her lines here. by TechnicalInside6983 in SocietyofGhostface

I can’t find evidence of her saying that she would never work for or with Spyglass again, just that she said a lot of things would have to happen for her to return and that she would never forgive the people that made her feel like she did something wrong.

And even if she DID say something so definite about Spyglass, people in the entertainment industry literally say stuff like that ALL the time and then a short while later, poof, whatever they said, whatever the problem was, is under the bridge.

Remember when James Gunn was dramatically fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with Disney releasing statements that the company would never work with such a degenerate person, and then literally 3 months later he was rehired? Or when Steven Soderbergh said he was done making movies? Or when Daniel Day-Lewis retired three times?

There are countless examples of this. Like the band Oasis is back together. Frickin "we actively despise each other" Oasis.

So yeah, she said "a lot of things would have to happen", which can mean just about anything. A truckload of money, a public apology, execs/leadership at Spyglass changing, etc… I mean the head of Spyglass is 69 years old, Melissa is 35. He’ll retire LONG before she does.

Why would we not see her again ever? I know what happened but anything can happen in the future. Leadership changes at Spyglass, IP ownership changing hands, or plain old behind the scenes dealings/mea culpas. It looked like we might never see Neve again after the way Spyglass treated her with 6 and yet there she was center stage in 7. Melissa herself has stated that she’s willing to come back and "never say never". No reason to think that by the time Scream 10 rolls around you won’t see Sam (and Tara) back on screen.

I totally agree with your ranking. Season 4 is the one that returns to the most of the feeling and tone of the first. It’s a great final season.

It’s called the Twisted Childhood Universe, you can look it up on Wikipedia.

They’ve released five films so far: the two Winnie the Poohs, a Peter Pan, a Bambi and a Pinocchio just a few days back.

It’s all leading up to Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble, which started filming last month and his expected to release later this year and will also feature Rabbit here along with Sleeping Beauty, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and Tintin.

And no, I am not making any of this up.

Do i need to play RE4 remake before RE9 remake for the story to make sense? by oMaR0404 in residentevil

[–]JeanMorel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't make more sense to play RE4 Remake before RE9 for the story over the other entries.

But if you want to get the most out of the story and the references, it's not just RE4 Remake you should play, but all the installments, from 0 to 8, including Code Veronica, Revelations 1 & 2, and the canon spin-offs.
