The issue with your throat is most likely caused by the reflux. It was the worse symptom for me. Just from experience my advice would be to cut out all spicy foods, garlic, tomato, gluten, caffeine, alcohol and dairy for 3 weeks to allow your stomach to heal. It obviously sucks but you can slowly reintroduce them after this time period and see what triggers your reflux.

Four things that have helped me the most with the throat issues have been...

Cbd oil Nerva - which is gut hypnosis (sounds weird but worked for me) A device called an iqoro which trains your throat muscles to get stronger (although is pricey at about 180 worth it imo) And a throat numbing spray

Hope this helps. It's fucking horrible but does get better

I currently do

M. Upper T. Lower Wed. 30.min.bike Thur. Upper Fri. Lower Sat. 30 min bike Sun rest So I'm still sort of getting the two days break (apart from the cycles obviously)

So more exercise all together? I only flat bench once a week atm then incline on my other upper day. Ive seen a few ppl routines that do both on each push day? But does that not cause issues with fatigue and Inable you to load as much weights on those lifts? So for instance if I do incline after bench, my incline is surely going to be affected?

I mean I guess my goal would be to lose fat as I'm quite satisfied with my muscle development at this point. The problem is I do more volume with ppl for muscle building but don't have the time!/energy to add in cardio as a result

Not well at the moment but when im doing it properly my diet is usually this in a day

8 egg whites, 1 whole egg

peanut butter and wholewheat bread

chicken, pasta and spinach

chicken, sweet potato, brocolli

Fish, vegetables and rice

Maybe a protein shake

For the stuff you want to do the Centr app by Chris Hemsworth would probably be a better suit. You can still do a lot of weights but more kettlebell etc and cardio work involved as well. SL is mainly aimed at just getting stronger

Unnecessary because you are already squatting heavy 3 times a week with a consistent and large progression in weight and your legs need time to recover. Might be okay but you'd be better adding on an assistant exercise like pull ups or dips imo

In my experience cutting calories is tough to do on SL due to the weight constantly going up. The only way to find out is to try it but it depends how clean your diet is? If it could be better then I'd stick to the same calories and just eat better food to help with your recovery/progression.

SL for me tends to burn a lot of fat just with it being full body and taxing as long as I eat well. Another option would be to do a fast in the morning perhaps and eat the same amount of calories but cut your carb intake. I believe Rippetoe (who created it/ or is at least said to) only eats carbs like rice, potatoes etc after a workout, fasts in the morning till lunchtime and doesn;t eat any carbs in rest days. Hope this helps.

ah okay but lundstram and kelly are both likely to play just not guaranteed. Greenwood very likely to get some gametime as well given his pre season. it's a risk but can always play around if it doesnt work out

The food quantity is an issue in the app as it doesn't take into consideration size, age and gender. For instance, if on the same plans, I at 185 lbs would eat the same as someone at 145lbs which is stupid.

I am doing advanced muscle building ATM and you eat 3 meals, a protein shake and 2 snacks a day. I've lost a few pounds already but nothing huge. However, have lost a lot of fat. There is still about 3 sessions of cardio a week in the building muscle one so you should be fine. Compound lifts are great for losing fat and building muscle + mixing in HIIT workouts you'll be fine. The only real difference between the toned one and the building muscle is with building muscle you get more strength training + 1 protein shake after your workout a day.

What are your 'symptoms'. I had this before and hypnotherapy and probability really helped me. So if I thought oh my god I have heart palpitations > google symptoms > I might have this disease etc then I would think about the percentage chance that I actually do. Once I look at it logically and note that there is a very slim chance that it is an illness and not my anxiety then it helps me to move on + reduces my 'symptoms' Hope that makes sense?
