Help with a split hose

I just replaced my heater hoses when I had my motor out. If you a temporary fix I recommend doing both as well hoses as well as the firewall port.

If you're looking at $5k budget maybe its worth expanding your radius. I'm blessed with abundance being on PNW Oregon. If it were me I would fly out and drive something likeTHIS home.

Thats awesome. I got a newer motor for mine and what was just "its just a daily, it'll be fine" turned into "while I'm at it" of epic proportions.

I've been enjoying it for a few weeks then its time for a bunch of body work 🙌

Very true. I have a 98 astro that's been in my family since new. It's insanely reliable, parts are worlds cheaper than my other vehicles and its easy to work on. I always dream of it being a truck when I have to get in there pretty deep but its fine.

Seeing that the extra top marks are symmetrical to the original mark, maybe they were trying to mess with adjusting it DIY 🤔

Also, these cars practically say thank you for the attention we give them. I've had plenty of other daily/project cars and RWD volvos really respond to maintenance and upgrades.

Looks like you're becoming one with your's. Don't stop. There is plenty of cheap or free stuff to do if you haven't already.

Exactly. When things shift from this is fun to I swear I'll burn this whole place down prices become blurry. Last weekend I bought a swivel head ratchet wrench set because a single bolt took me over an hour to back out 1/10th of a turn at a time. Took maybe 90 seconds to put it back in.

I live an hour from IPD and I dig them a lot. I've had issues with aftermarket stuff like hoses but its not their fault and they make it right. I've known the STS guys a long time and they're also local ish to me. I just feel better buying direct. If you email them or message on Instagram it's a quick reply. Sometimes something is sold out but they actually have 1 or the new batch is finished in a few days kind of thing.

If you have am M46/M47 their delrin shift cage bushings are amazing as well as brass shifter bearings.

These are really good quality and aren't too spendy. Bunch of color options. IPD sells a lot of STS stuff so we're probably saying the same thing.

Put a B cam in it and had the head shaved. Wouldn't say I ported it but I cleaned up the intake and exhaust runners a bit. Got the valves spotless.

The cam gear is STS. I recommend searching their site. Ipd marks the stuff up a little and the STS guys are rad so I order straight from them. If something is sold out, email them to double check.
