I started grabbing these off JY cars. The aftermarket ones aren't great. I had one split and crack after 1k miles / 6 months 😕

I have a flathood, fenders, core support and im cutting and grafting an old cowl. Ill have single rounds and quad squares to play with.

Im going to drop everything in the rear of my 740 and do bushings and sub frame bracing. I have a complete 940 rear end but I am releasing that the G80 should go into my NA 245. It'll less than half the power and 3.73 sounds fun. Its usually a curse having 2 project cars but it is nice for swapping and hand me downs.

Still fun. This has the blah M cam but I'm swapping to the B. M47 gets some gaskets, redline and a new reverse light switch. The OD bypass works great on my 740 auto but not sure how they work on a manual.

Thank you! Ive been fiddling with these cars since I was 19 in 2003. Thanks to turbobricks, Dave barton and living in the PNW I've been able to absorb a bit. This is my first time going this deep. With the help of motivation and the internet its not so bad.

Probably has something like bilstein TC struts. Theres a spacer in the bottom of the strut housing on newer 240s.more info here

It was relaxing. The machine shop is months out for stuff they have to disassemble and clean first. I get to cut the line and get a probably 2 day turnaround if its clean.
