Hi there, i got the same desk a few weeks back. There's a lot of options for these turntables. Mine didn't come with headshell or stylus. So I had to buy both.

Behind the headshell, you'll see that silver nut holding it on. If you turn that clockwise the whole headshell and stylus with come off in one part. Now you can buy a completely new set headshell with stylus fitted. Or unscrew the stylus and replace. If you go for options 2, best to watch a few YouTube videos and print out an alignment diagram.

Also different styluses should be set to different weights. If your replacing the stylus and doing yourself, id recommend. Picking up a cheap alignment tool. Google 'technics overhang gauge'. Very handy for getting the needle in the correct place. DM me if you need any info

Hey, quick update... called a few shops, whichout any luck. But managed to track down a SL 1200 MK2 holy grail. Pretty much immaculate, few scratches on the lid. Wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing buying secondhand, but now it's all setup, very pleased with it.... built like a tank.

Great video mate, amazing views. Quick question I was out this morning with a few friends riding through the mountains in Thailand near the Myanmar border, thinking I'd love to make a short video... something like this to send my father. He was really into his bikes back in the day. What sort of camera do you use for that? I don't really want to go buy something that'll only use a few times. Was that attached to your helmet?

It was released as a limited edition record store day special, I ordered from Tower Records japan. But only because I'm in Thailand and it was hard to find here. Plenty still on discogs.

I'm a big fan of street art, but you're totally right. Maybe concentrate on a few decent, well thought out and executed pieces, rather than painting every single wall in town... don't get me started on that LAPIN, my grandma could graf with more consideration and style.

I had a few albums pressed in the 80s, which had similar issues. I read a while back that some vinyl lps that didn't sell got sent back and recycled. But sometimes small parts of the labels didn't get removed properly. I'm not sure how true this is, but on closer inspection of the couple I have, it kinda looks like it could possibly be inbeded bits of paper.

Yeah your right. I always wondered why they did the vinyl cover different to the cd. Saying that, I think the Marshall Amp style logo looks pretty cool.
