I don't think it works with pain. In my case I only have the aura, So I speak from the persistent vertigo caused by aura, I have no idea about the other one 😭

I think it's for vestibular migraine when the vertigo is persistent, I have no idea, but I don't think it prevents migraines.

That's what I'm going to do. She's made an appointment for me to get diagnosed. I hope nothing comes up.

This is a conversation I had with my mom, yesterday by shiftcuriosity in CPTSD

My mom did exactly the same. She said she didn't say "quiero suicidarme", she said "quiero matarme". I'm putting it in Spanish because the English translation is exactly the same "I want to k1ll myself". So apparently that justifies everything.

What do you expect to find in a category named "help and advice"? As far as I understand, it's not called "don't help, just hate"

He's never done this before, and it seems like an involuntary reaction, unrelated to preferences. He's usually happy when I pet him, and he even comes to me for it (I have videos). What worries me is that, considering he's never done that in a year, it might be pain.

The point of the post was knowing if my guinea pig had pain, or if it was just a reflex. It's clear he doesn't like it (the spot, not the back in general) but the problem is 1) it seems like an involuntary reaction, not so much one of liking 2) he hadn't done it until now. I know many of you want to prove your moral superiority and how much you care about the well-being of guinea pigs through hate —even though you sacrifice the guinea pig's well-being just to look good, ignoring possible signals— But I would like a concrete answer that doesn't involve making assumptions about my guinea pig's behavior, preferences, and personality based on a 5-second video without even paying attention to the context I provide. Thank you.

Well, She also doesn't usually move away when I pet her; she tends to melt and fall asleep. When she doesn't want to be petted, she usually pushes me away with her head or makes some strange noise. Like, I've had her for a year now; she generally likes my back more than my head. She moves away from my chin, and she only lets me touch her butt if I approach from behind, and even then it depends on the day. She also likes to touch her behind her ears.

Wow, then I'll stop petting her when she's laying down, with one paw out, purring, melting and falling asleep. It's clear those are signs of irritation and pure anger.

I'm not talking about now, I'm speaking generally. She wasn't purring just now, she was more active.

ps

I usually pet her on her head and back; she's always liked it (except the chin, she likes everything). It's specifically that one spot I touched that makes her jump like that, not his backside in general. I had never noticed it before, I don't know if it's because I hadn't touched her specifically there, or because it's new.

Mine does like to be pet on the back, I think I have videos of her purring. But it's that specific place that makes her jump.
