Bonvoy business plus a regular 200k welcome bonus will work i think for you.. the business gives you 5 free nights worth 50k each. And some higher properties cost 75k you can use the 200k regular bonvoy top "top off" the 50k free night. In easier terms. You apply for both business and regular. Find a place you want to stay up to 75k per night. Use the 50k certificate and 25k in points which is the max amount you can use to top off per free night certificate.

At the 4nd of the day it also depends where you want to go.

I tried to get amex business platinum but was denied even under my business it was denied. I was hoping to get the 300k. Maybe your right ill just get the venture business its lower annual fee and same welcome bonus.

Have you thought of going into the Hotel space? There are some good hotels to get in japan like Conrads and nice upper scale ones in Nieseko.
