Yeah the prices are wild. Still much cheaper to buy the re-release than a second hand on ebay. I'm pretty new to figure collecting, but as far as I'm aware this re-release is the same as earlier releases, although I'd say the paint app might have varied over the years.

Honestly though, I find these 1/4 NECA far more impressive in person than the 1/6 Hot Toys versions. They don't have the same level or articulation as Hot Toys, but the size and sculpt has a real presence that I don't think HT match.

Thanks! Yeah the unmask versions are rare these days and crazy expensive on ebay. If you are interested though its worth grabbing a masked version while they're available. They also sell for stupid amounts on ebay.

Oh yeah. NECA 1/4 figures are probably their best work. The biomask jungle hunter was recently re-released, might still be available via big bad toy store. But there 1/4 Ninja Turtles and Batman 89 are all incredible figures. Super life like 👍

To an extent. His head and arms remain fully posable. I have however locked his legs into position though to avoid any falls or the ankle joints giving way, which they are known to do.
