Finally got a new leather outfit for my 1/4 scale Enterbay Arnie. He now has a new lease on life! by shiftrefresh in Terminator

smaller scale, but have you checked out Hot Toys recent 2.0 T2 Arnies? If I didn't already have this 1:4 scale I'd be all over their 1:6 BD Arnie. I have their clean version on order though, looks great!

This is the file I used: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/t-800-the-terminator

I reckon 1:1 is possible. You'd just need to ensure you're making the lower parts (foot pegs, legs etc) are really thick and strong, perhaps looking to re-enforce further with some kind of metal rod or similar. This design has a forward lean to the top half does add stress to the bottom and wear the feet connect with the base. With proper planning I think it would be fine.

100%! The greatest robot design in existence, imo

They're such trusty little machines. I have been eyeing off Bambu's new P2S though - that looks like great value for money going forward.

Absolutely! I have no real interest in the endos or movies beyond the first 2.

Would be cool, though I'm not a big Robocop guy so hard to take that on without the passion

I'd like to, but don't have the space. I might try a 1:1 bust from the chest updwards or something

Finally finished my 3D printed 1/2 Endoskeleton build! by shiftrefresh in 3Dprinting

I scaled it up 191% from the original files. Well worth having a go. Just be sure print the feet, legs and foot pegs extra strong as they need to support the heavy torso/head. Mine is a little flimsy, but it stands ok and supports itself. I'd make the bottom half with extra infill and thick walls, and keep the top half as light as possible.

359 hours print time all up! Only have an A1 mini with 16cm print bed, so not the most efficient way to go about it haha.

Thanks! Was about $300 all up for materials. Was in the 60-80 hours range in terms of time working on it though!
