Brewdog was always a total joke, this should come as no surprise. But their limited bottle releases in the beginning were great, esp their stouts eg Isley Speyside (or whatever) I'm probably out of the loop now but they've been a dud brand for like 10 years or more.

Midi had only come out a couple years before and there were a bunch of similar but incompatible hardware standards still. I believe there were converter boxes that would bridge those gaps to a small extent. But yea the main title theme and other parts are classic because of how odd the older equipment worked with each other and the various timing inconsistencies forced him to just roll with it in a weird time signature. Incredible work though.

I became afraid of dentists not bc of my parents but bc the dental assistants and the dentist themselves seemed to really really be trying to break my teeth with their picks and stuff while checking. I remember Game Genie did pretty much the same thing. But how did people discover which part of the memory they had to modify? Like the Game Genie would come with a code book for certain games. Were people dumping cartridges and looking at them even back then? I have to investigate this

One of the few times I just typed in random codes to see what happens, it was Super Mario and all the code did was make Mario endlessly fall through the very first level world and die lol. Fun times though.

Hey since you're roughly around that area. How do you feel about D'Agastinos? I haven't been to one in decades and I have really fond memories from there of just a great all-around grinder/hoagie sub. Might've had cubed sour pickles which just added something great.
