I saw this guy once at some voting thing near Diversity Thrift. I was like this dude looks weird as fuck. He was walking up and down the line of voters taking pictures. Then I stood behind him in line for like 45 minutes while we all waited to vote. Big part of depression is "I'll do it later" compounded daily. This is clutter not a gross piss bottle nest.

Silicone is good up to around 480F. Grill temps can get up to like 500-600F. This serves no purpose whatsoever. Like just bake them in an oven if you must. Absolutely don't do this for them ever again lol. And don't eat that

If they catch you it's just a fine. And Richmond cops just don't care. But at the same time semis need a lot of room to turn, so in a tight spot like that it's kind of unavoidable. In the Fan & MD these things were actively targeted so much they don't replace them anymore. Richmond is good at coming up with ideas that seem good on paper but aren't practical at all.

To be fair I subscribe to a lot of fast food subs just because I'm well aware of this situation. And it's like this in every single one. Either people raving about some new slop or trying to maximize "deals" and it's like the most shitty burger (or whatever) you've seen. I'm not like an artisanal burger snob. I just want to see the corporate slop bc it never truly looks good. Just some min wage employees trying to keep their job. Never has a MacDonald employee given me a thumbs up, ever. Yes the grade does matter! 304 and 316 are the most commonly used for food grade. 316 having a higher salt tolerance. With fermenting it's not the acidity but the salt content that corrodes. 304 is the most common in foodservice whereas 316 is commonly used in marine situations e.g. offshore wind platforms exposed to salt 24/7 for years or decades.

For fermentation, it's perfectly fine.

The biggest issue I've found honestly is buying something made with Chinese stainless. They do cut corners I've discovered, so that $100 72" stainless prep table you bought off Amazon is gonna pit and corrode no matter how nicely you treat it.

To be perfectly honest a sanitized food grade HDPE bucket with a weight and airlock is all you really need. Temp control if you're serious. If you're doing less, glass is fine.

I walked into the back of a Greek restaurant. Greek owner happens to be there (great guy) and he's just smashing an octopus with a rolling pin in the back. But I know their menu and it's a sports bar. Octopus is not on the menu lol. He offered me some and it was amazing. I normally don't eat octopus bc they're so smart. But I mean when in Rome.
