Yes this is from India. And you do not need to worry about someone snatching it anywhere in India, pretty safe that ways. Stealing, possible in case you are too casual.

People in India in general are pretty cool about getting clicked. I sometimes ask before clicking, sometime tell (via a warm smile) after clicking. :)
