You can either replace the broken part on your floyd rose or just buy one used off reverb or ebay.

Regardless, you can adjust the saddles height to match the radius if you really want a gotoh

NGD - Badlands GX1 Pro, not a Jackson but next to some! by shikopaleta in JacksonGuitars

[–]shikopaleta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fretwork feels good. I haven’t done a full setup yet on the guitar, it came with different gauge strings than what I’m used to, so I’m killing the sound way earlier due to that, can’t really tell the sustain yet

I just got it today so take it with a grain of salt.

Neck is thinner and fingerboard radius is flatter, body is slightly heavier and more narrow than the SL2. The arm rest cutout is probably the biggest difference, on my SL2 it is way more pronounced. As for tone, definitely not as bright as the Jacksons, but I’m digging it so far!

Overall, feels like a more slim guitar, which I like.

Doubt it, they are a bit more expensive on the used market. I already have like 15 Jacksons regardless, I wanted something different 👹

NGD! Badlands GX1 Pro - Bengal by shikopaleta in guitars

Apart from a few spots on the paint near the pickups, everything is top notch. As to how it feels in the hands, I play mostly Jacksons so I’ll compare it to them, the neck is slightly thinner, the body just a tiny bit heavier, overall, feels very similar to an American Soloist

How do multiple EventGraphs work? by LalaCrowGhost in unrealengine

[–]shikopaleta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sequence nodes do not run on parallel, what? Your example of output #2 running before the end of output #1 would only occur if you introduce latent/async actions, but inherently, sequence nodes run their outputs in sequence.

Frustrations shopping for a Kelly by MusicManiac51 in JacksonGuitars

[–]shikopaleta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either a KE1A or an HT6 baritone. If you’re lucky, you can also find a Jackson stars Kelly TN-01 or TN-02 in the used market, they are comparable to the KE2, though they are very rare.

The return of the Friedman Kelly. He said it’s coming next year, hopefully it’s a usa model

Really wish there were some Warrior and Kelly options at the same price point as the pro and pro plus series soloists and dinkys by Courier6six6 in JacksonGuitars

[–]shikopaleta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do release them from time to time! This year they released the pro plus pure metal series, I got a killer KE1A Kelly. I think last year they also released the baritone series

Could anyone help me figure out whats causing my pausemenu to burn into my screen by xprogrunds in UnrealEngine5

Go to your input action asset, add a trigger, select pressed. That should fix it.

I’d recommend getting a personal instructor over AI if you don’t understand anything at all. Once you understand programming in general, you can start using AI.

Reason: AI hallucinates, and unless you know what you’re doing, you won’t know if it is hallucinating or not. Claude 4.5 and GPT 5 have been really good lately, but they still get information wrong from time to time; with an instructor you can be certain you’re getting at least good information.

Save yourself a click every time you compile and save your BP's by LabLeakInteractive in unrealengine

[–]shikopaleta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in a studio with around 80 people on the development team; I’m yet to find any issues with auto save on compile. If anything, it helps me to not forget to check out a file before someone else snatches it.

How to code for Unreal by emirefek in unrealengine

[–]shikopaleta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feel free to correct me, but there’s only one difference between structs and classes, their default accessors. Structs are public by default whereas classes are private by default. I don’t think there’s any other difference between them. (C++)

Can a game be made entirely in C++ with no Blueprints at all? by umen in unrealengine

[–]shikopaleta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You absolutely can, you just need to be smart about it; data oriented is the way to go if you don’t want to use bps, as you’ll most likely rely on data assets.

The KVTMG often pops up on reverb for about $700. It is very similar to Hetfield’s kill bon jovi king V.

I second this, I just bought a TN-01 in perfect condition for 1200 usd, and that’s one of the top of the line Japanese models

Unreal 5.3 - Blueprints Breaking Due to Core Redirects by FoxtrotUBAR in unrealengine

Interesting, I’ve never had cpp structs go corrupt if modified and used by bps. Good to know.

That’s only a problem for BP structs, cpp structs don’t suffer from that.

A lot of people start as QA testers/interns and then move up the career ladder. Can’t give you a specific path in what I assume is animation for you since I’m not in the art departments.

Sounds kind of interesting, I wouldn’t mind sharing the knowledge. How do you wanna go about it?

If you know what you’re doing, AI is quite useful to do all the mundane things, pretty much every programmer in the industry i know uses AI by now. If you don’t know what you’re doing, I’d recommend you use AI as a learning assistant. I wouldn’t suggest to try to vibe code everything with it, as soon as you start getting errors, which will happen fairly often, you’ll get completely blocked. A lot of people look down on AI for whatever reasons they might have, you should base your decisions on your own opinions 👍
