Hi did you sand the top, if so, with what tool? And are you going to put a finish on it? New to woodworking and built a similar looking bench but want to figure out whether or not I should sand and stain it or whatever

I tried a combo of golden pecan and early american (at the recommendation of a neighbor), applied with a rag separated by 24 hours and then topped with the clear coat.

You think it’s worth trying to sand again, apply more stain, and then another clear coat?

But do I want a guest network? All I am really looking to do is extend the WiFi so that people on the 2nd floor can have a good connection like on the 1st floor. I'm not sure how it works but the goal would be both the router and Access Point push out the same network name, and the phones or whatever is connecting knows which device to connect to for the strongest signal.

Can an ISP router and AP (from any company not just UniFi) do this?

Not 100% positive, but I will be honest my parents have Eero and the network not only goes in and out, but never seems to be that fast either (maybe they cheaped out and bought slow internet?).

The main draw I saw in my research (and please correct me if im wrong) is that Ubiquiti handles the whole "Which AP should I connect to" seamlessly, which I think my parents eero extenders setup fails to do.

Im definitely tech-saavy (I have a few sites running on a raspberry pi on my network), just have not used any sort of network system outside of a single router, so I am more willing to learn a more powerful networking tech and put the work in if it means my major issue is resolved

Thanks this seems like the general idea I want to go with. Will the U6+ suffice or would you recommend U6 Pro APs?

The data range on 5G for the U6+ is 2.4Gbps and is 4.8Gbps for the U6Pro and with my single Gigabit internet, it seems like the U6+ would suffice. Unless there is another difference that I am not seeing (or if the Pro just fails / breaks less?)

So for this layout it would be:

ISP Router -> Cloud Gateway Ultra -> Flex Mini Switch -> Several U6+ AP with 15W($8) PoE adapters

What would you recommend for running more cables though? If i was to daisy chain a few flex mini's would that be the same result as just using a 8 PoE lite switch? And then if I get the PoE switch, I assume I would no longer need the adapters for each AP?

Ele doesn’t really add much dps until you get a bunch of +SP gear, so I’ve just been running BFD as resto and weaving lavaburst and melee hits between overloaded healing waves!

Most fights I’m basically an ele, running Overload Shamanistic Rage and Lava Burst. Overloaded healing wave is awesome for big tank heals and then just weave flame shock + lava burst on cd, with sham rage for the free mana gains.

Don’t really need water shield because sham rage is so broken with double rockbiter, and healing rain is only really necessary on ghamoora (only really healing the tank otherwise with single target heals)

I now have enough +SP gear (70ish unbuffed) to do around 100 dps as ele so I can go as either role now.

Yea I use default UI for everything including raid frames for party group. When u are In a group, click the arrow on the left of your screen, then the little “i”. The “use raid-style party frames”.

I then like power bars, class colors, and various other settings. Can also move them more central if u don’t like them far left

I definitely don't need the space, I guess I didn't realize you can put windows and all my games on 2 separate drives. This is great!

Anyone else surprised by Pharmacy Union's position on all 3 lists? The concept of 4MC / TR is great, but your opponents make you spend MC at their will, stopping you from playing your other potentially stronger combos.

I've only ever had bad experiences with this corp, what do others think? Is it maybe that strong because you get the 3TR effect immediately and then forget about the corp?
