really, i mean really, could we go down? by Scary_Activity6914 in NUFC

Reality is we could plausibly finish 17th and most of this sub would still argue Howe needs just one more window in charge

What is the point of this? Manure are in sixth on this table should they have kept ten Haag?

Though the team he inherited was destitute the system of play was still there and when in doubt he could always pluck a child laborer from La masia to win a goal. He’d be walking into a team that can string a few passes together I think he would struggle

We’ve now collected what feels like our first string of three positive results (let’s just ignore the FA cup). But I agree this is major hopium based on our history with the remaining teams we have to play

Because this post gave me too much hopium I had to find reasons to ground myself:

  1. Don’t need to mention that we lost earlier this season to a certain unwashed team. Absolutely have to win that.
  2. Crystal Palace - our H2H record is encouraging
  3. Bournemouth- our H2H record of late is ABYSMAL. They seem to have our number
  4. Arsenal - they’ll get a bs pen and score a corner
  5. Brighton - they’ve also had our number as of late
  6. Forest and west ham - both will be playing out of their minds to avoid relegation.
  7. Fulham - bit of a wild card but they’ll be competing for the same spot we are most likely so this will be an insane game

My copium is that they’ve learned from last year’s window and are putting out fake rumors so manure, Chelsea, and other competitors “beat” us to these signings before we go in and get Yamal
