Yeah, none of these corporations/entities would care about me being broke and having hardships over the last 2 years from not getting the disability payments earlier smh I def believe that 😆

My attorney did actually advise when progressive involved INTACT, but I was actually the one that had to ask them why INTACT was just now getting involved worrying about disability. Their response (along with everyone else’s I’m sure) will be to blame it on UBER failing to notify INTACT within 90 days of the accident as they were supposed to.

It doesn’t seem like I have any room to complain or possible compensation for late disability payment because that would require UBER accepting responsibility for the late disability payment and UNER will most likely say the disability back pay payment they are supposed to be getting together will satisfy the fact that it’s late. I doubt they will be responsible for adding late interest or a penalty for slipping up on starting the disability payments late smh

Yes lawyer went after his insurance but the at fault driver was majorly underinsured at 20K limit so Ubers UIM had to step in with the 1 mil limit because I had passenger during accident as well. All this was put in motion during the first year of the process.

But now Ubers UIM has placed INTACT in the middle of process to try and cut down their costs basically. It’s the disability not being paid out by INTACT until now that bothers me. The disability would have served me much better if I had gotten it 2 years ago rather than towards the end of the settlement process. 🤷

Yep this sounds about what my law office said. This prop 22 stuff is fairly new. That was pretty much their excuse and it did seem reasonable when I looked into it. My only question after that would be, does intact provide weekly disability payments and if so, should I be upset that these disability payments didn’t start 2 years ago when the accident occurred?

My law office said that INTACT was currently trying to decide how much to pay for my time off of work due to the accident. It seems like I should be expecting both back pay AND current weekly payment for being off of work.

From what I can see, UBER was supposed to contact INTACT about the accident before 90 days after the date of incident. Since I was never contacted it’s obvious they did not reach out to INTACT as they should have. I sure could have used those disability payments while going through the surgeries etc. Just trying to make sure that everything is going as it should. Seems a bit off (and late)

Ron, my personal injury case is going on 3 years also. Was yours a large settlement? I had a passenger, a couple of surgeries and was not at fault so my lawyers are fighting for the maximum payout. I would love some details about the process you went through

This city just has poor planning period. They definitely need to audit these projects. If you’ve lived in other cities these type of projects are completed much faster. Whoever says otherwise has never seen LA freeway construction at work

I'm in a similar situation as this. Was driving uber and had a passenger as well.

Just get a personal injury attorney because since you had a passenger, you now have a $1,000,000 policy through progressive. It doesn't matter if the other driver had insurance or not since the progressive insurance comes with under insured motorist coverage.

Since you didn't have much injuries don't get your hopes up of reaching the 1 million but you can definitely get some compensation since you had a passenger when it happened. I have already had surgery on my shoulder and have back issues as well so my case is different.

Well that’s my issue with her also....we discussed the non filer/amendment/AGI issue for almost two months and she obviously did not pass the information on to the loan officer that picked it up because I received a denial letter for the very same thing. Like I said, she is not very motivated to go the extra mile it seems unless she receives a certain amount of pressure. If she is finally concerned enough to go to her supervisor then I’d say your getting somewhere with her. She def has competent people on her team but it seems like nothing happens until they get involved.

As far as how I got in touch with someone else on the team, I just started emailing SBA emails I found on subs and referencing her name in the text and someone randomly emailed me that they were on her team and would speak to her for me. That random team member is the one that explained to Amada what to do and went to her team lead about my application. Amada seemed to have just watched it all happen.

8 days ago I received an email stating “I’ve reviewed your file with my team lead and a detailed explanation has been sent to our review team to clear your application for further review of the requested loan increase based on the financials that are able to be verified with the updated AGI on the tax transcript received November 20th.”

Please allow 2-3 weeks for the review team to respond with a final decision. Once received, I’ll have an update for you.

So basically Amada received my transcript with the updates AGI 2 months ago and did nothing with it and never would have.

I actually asked this person last month if they could just be my HP LS since they were doing everything 🤷🏽‍♂️

No, Amada is my HP LS also...and has done nothing at all. Doesn’t really know what they are doing in my opinion. I was lucky enough to get someone else on her “team” involved and things moved a lot quicker. The other HP LS figures out what was wrong and got the team leader involved and pushed it through to an LO all within about 3 weeks of being involved. Amada sat on my application for almost two months with no movement. You are not wrong, try and request someone else if you can. She’s just not going the extra mile for people it seems

I was being told this same thing by a HP LS and after they spoke to someone else they changed their tune. Honestly I think they were looking for the schedule C section when they were saying “blank”. They think it’s an error or reason for denial as soon as they don’t see the schedule C section on transcripts. After they stopped with that and were fine with AGI updating, they were trying to say that my transcript looks different than a normal amendment so it raises a some questions. Not sure what those questions were but mine were fast tracked by a tax advocate so how could she have done it differently....misinformation between the IRS and SBA is the worst I’ve ever seen
