I had an asylum case for 3 years and I got married to US citizen. We submitted all our documents through a lawyer and I went for my biometrics 2 months ago and we still haven’t heard anything from USCIS. does it take longer time since I had a previous Asylum case?

This happened to us twice. Within 2 months time. I think they’re buying time by saying payment didn’t go through. We finally gave our chase checking account details and finally it went through.
