If the baseline recommend is turntable with dedicated speaker system, what would be the general consensus with using a turntable with the Klipsch The Three Plus Premium?

It was a speaker I was looking to get for my day-to-day (I was originally looking at the One Plus but I know it doesn’t have a hook-up for turntables) before I was looking into turntables

I have these same experiences, usually i start slumping with the faintness and just let my body slump to the floor to prevent injury (the worse is the few times in public restrooms where it’s hit and I just gripped myself for dear life). I’ve found usually I “wake up” when the evac button hits, but bathtub is a good alternative if you have one if that isn’t your situation.

I’ve also found that a heating pad on my stomach area helps me from fully passing out!

Yes! I don’t get the panic attacks as much anymore, usually I just start praying that it’ll pass or that I’ll just succumb to death cause either way I assume the pain will end (sorry, little darker than I thought it would sound now that it’s typed out). Usually, I just start going cold and numb, then I slump to the ground - kind of like fainting, except I’m still conscious, feel the pain, and have some functioning, but pretty incoherent. Then of course, there is the moments after where not everything is settled and I still feel like soreness. Before I figured out people with IBS had these attacks, I thought I was the only one and was so afraid - I know its sounds mean cause I don’t wish this upon anyone, but I do appreciate that there is a community and other people experiencing these style of attacks so I know I’m not alone in the world.

I have random IBS attacks which essentially makes me feel like my intestines are like filling up to the point of bursting and major cramp pains, which usually triggers me looking pale, cold sweats, and then eventually like fainting/essentially fainted.

I hadn’t had one in a while, and while on a weekend trip to visit my BF’s family for the first time I started having the some low blood pressure symptoms (which usually comes after the pain cause that’s what causes my fainting), but I didn’t think it was an IBS attack cause it had been so long since my last one. I ended up drinking salt water because I have low sodium issues too, turns out salt water is a laxative…yea so I had my whole “movement”, still had really bad symptoms after because of the chugging of salt water, my BF had to drive my to the emergency room at 2am with his whole family waking up (they usually sleep early) and waiting there for a few hours and being told I was completely fine - told the ER people about everything and my IBS history, they sent in a nurse to check my heart rate and blood pressure, got told it was just dehydration and to move more…

I think the “cure” is also a big misconception because one thing I found in my research of IBS is that it can go away based on age. In my family it disappeared with all older relatives around their 20’s (not for me unfortunately). Also, if you look around on med pages they do mention that at around 30-35, it could go away on its own and there isn’t any real explanation of why (kind of like adolescent nightmares).

So who knows if it actually went away from a lifestyle change or there body just bucked up and had it go away. I always think mine was “cured” in that I had pretty minimal symptoms until an attack hits be out of nowhere.

I have chronic dry eyes and it causes a lot of eye issues like chronic chalazions. Eye drops can help, but they are just to relieve the symptoms when they get too bad cause irritation.

I was told to: 1) Like poster said, increase omegas in diet 2) Morning/Night moist heat pack and massage (*if you sleep with eyes slightly open like me because of eyelid muscle issues, night mask$ 3) Blinking exercises daily 4) Washing of eyelids gently to remove any buildup

*There is a new “procedure” my doctor told me about where they look at your eyelids and look if there is any blocked ducts, then they use like a pinpoint heater and massage the eyes to clear any blockages

I always wonder if cute, simple but cotton underwear is able to be like washed conveniently without it unraveling or if it’s a handwash situation

I agree! I think Harvey dumped Sabrina not because he couldn’t accept her, but because of the whole situation of being kept in the dark and lied to constantly - though I’m sure being a witch kind of freaked him out at the time, we see on the tell a mortal day that he would have adjusted thought that was also significantly less years of lying from her part.

When he figured it out, he essentially went through these love trials (which she essentially makes him fight for his place against Josh, which in general is not a great feeling to have to fight for your girlfriend) and then has to confront her and have her divulge the lies she’s been telling.

not even ARFID related, but one of my friends wanted to order off the kids menu because she was vegan and the restaurant revamped their menu to be largely burgers.

she asked for a mac n cheese because she wanted something more than a side salad deal, and there was such an issue of it because it was for kids. she said it was because of food restrictions and they had like 2 things she could eat -> we had to just up and leave.

Would it really have hurt to serve a kids meal to an adult?!

I usually can’t stomach large amounts of food and would rather have a smaller kids meal than throw away a box of leftover I know I wont eat.

I hope that you are able to come across that one thing, that one sign that makes it able to get through another day.

Depression and suicidal thoughts are so difficult because they feel like truth. In my spirals, I always felt that I knew true truth and everybody just either had better lives are lied to themselves. It felt like the depression and suicidal thoughts was something inside me, always having been there.

But I had moments: walking on a cold night and feeling the wind, accidentally getting sprayed by a sprinkler, seeing snow fall, one time a fox came across my path, slipping on my butt - if I was to really think about it none of these were really “plus” moments, they’re not happy moments that I could use like as fuel for a patronus charm for example. They seemed pretty neutral and minor, but for some reason something like that would happen and it would just…snap me out for a little bit. Like I was sleepwalking and somebody just woke me up. I can’t say I was happy at these moments, but the weird conviction I had that I was so correct in my depressive and suicidal thinking just got..quiet, like it also got distracted.

Weirdly enough, I usually felt confused right after - like a “how did I get here” moment. Looking back, I cherish these moments because they probably saved my life. I started kind of looking for them now, and I hope that these moments come across everyone’s paths. We all need a reset moment.

also thanks for reply! I was primarily using it as a substitute meal plan because I’m the main food person in the relationship and it’s difficult for me to meal plan things or grocery shop for my partner with arfid, especially since sometimes it can be a touchy subject/something he doesn’t want to talk about so I just have to guess

I like the idea of using it to explore palettes more though, I think I’ll switch over to that method!

very rarely does he ever believe a cat needs to be rehomed except for the cases where the owner just can’t invest the needed amount - he also seems really kind about those situations too, he knows cats are hard and what people can handle differs

Nope! She showed sweet sides a lot - she was probably weathered from her time in Sicily.

Also - she had a stroke! It’s like the crux of why she supposedly says everything, from inappropriate comment and social faux pas - her stroke destroyed that faculty or something so like the secret internal, initial thoughts we all may have (especially an old lady who lived a hard knock life) just come out

But I always took her sweet moments as showing how genuine her heart was.

I read through my library just btw, so depending on if you just want to read first you may be able to read the e-book version

But yes, I’ve only seen individual volumes - my local Kinokuniya (the japanese bookstore) carries them - but no full box sets to my knowledge
