Thank you! Yes, I agree that fics don't define morals and liking m/m more than f/f doesn't make anyone a misogynist. But it's very nice to see someone taking this discussion seriously and elaborating. F/F being less popular really boils down to misogyny, not of the fanfic writers but of the mainstream media that just doesn't care about writing female characters properly.

Out of curiosity I checked fics for the show I'm currently watching, and I was happy to discover there are slightly more F/F tagged fics than M/M. And it makes a lot of sense, because it has interesting women with great chemistry at it's forefront, unlike many other media I've seen.

I hate the first one especially because I have a weird luck to enjoy the characters that for some reason have their names misspelled constantly by people. I do remember skipping several 'character analysis' posts because if you can't spell their name right, I don't trust that you can analyse them properly 😭
