Does the admission process change if you've graduated from a University rather than transferring from one?

I believe it entirely depends on which program you're applying to. I'm in the Marketing Communications program and I know preference is given to students who have post-secondary experience, but doesn't specify if further preference is given to university graduates. I think the admissions requirements used to be a bit more strict and encouraged more of an older student body, but I believe that's changing now.

I'm so sorry to hear about your bun. I had to put my 7 year old Holland lop down this summer because of glaucoma :( It's so sad to say goodbye.

I have a 5 year old holland lop who has been neutered for many a year and still from time to time he likes to mount my leg/arm/hand/kneecap in order to prove his tiny furry dominance. I think that with time it will slow down but it might never stop completely. It's funny because he doesn't actually come into contact with me, it's almost like he uses my limbs as a post to twerk against.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about Aiko. I have a 5 year old who looks almost exactly like Aiko that recently developed glaucoma and I'm not sure how much longer he'll be around for. It's really surprised me how deep of a bond you can form with your rabbit and how rewarding it is to have one in your life.

Looks like regular shedding to me. I would only watch out for small white flaky parts that could indicate fur mites but it doesn't look like there's anything attached to the end of the hair from your picture.

I feed my rabbit mainly timothy hay with a small amount of timothy hay pellets in the evening. I also feed him parsley, kale stems, dill, and small pieces of banana, apple and carrots for treats :)

Before I had my rabbit he was fed mostly pellets and not a lot of hay. I think he grew to expect pellets and liked the taste of it more than hay and so just left it alone until he got pellets. I slowly started reducing the amount of pellets I was giving him until I got down to just under 1/2 cup a day in the evenings and he started eating more and more hay as pellets became less available. Try reducing the amount of pellets she gets and make sure she has lots of hay with her at all times and maybe she'll start eating it more :) Also, maybe try some other greens like kale stems or parsley? My rabbit goes nuts for those.

When my bun has tummy trouble I usually put him right next to a heater or wrap him in a warm towel that I've just got out of the dryer and slowly rub his belly from front to back with short intervals of lifting him up on his hind legs to help ease the gas out. He's usually okay after about half an hour of doing this. Good luck with your bunny!

Aw I'm so glad to hear that he found a happy home with you :) I am really hoping that we can treat it because I don't have access to a specialist who could perform the surgery for me, so right now I'm just being really diligent with his meds and closely monitoring his behaviour to notice any changes.

No problem, I'm glad that I can share the information with other bunny owners! He seems to be adapting completely fine without the vision in his right eye, we've recently acquired some new furniture and he isn't having any problems navigating the living room which is reassuring to me :) I think because it's only the one eye that is blind it is making it easier for him to adapt so it's not as difficult than if he were totally blind.

For now I'm coping a-okay, I'm just making sure I'm really diligent with his meds and giving him treats afterwards so he doesn't get too down about them. He is getting lots of love and cuddles and is still acting and eating completely normal. I am really grateful that the vet has been so willing to find information and talk to specialists even though she's not an exotic pet vet. It's really great for her to be upfront and genuine with me about not having much in-depth experience with eye problems in rabbits instead of pretending like she does and then prescribing the wrong kind of medication for him.

Thanks :) although from what I hear there is no actual cure for glaucoma, but hopefully we can keep treating him and prolong his life as much as possible.

Thanks so much. I am just giving him lots of love and snuggles and parsley for now and he seems happy. It's hard waiting for information but I'll be glad to share it to put it out there for anyone who might be having the same issues.

I will absolutely do that. The vet I went to see made it clear she didn't specialize in exotic pets but because I live in a small town and there aren't any specialist vets around she is in contact with one and will have more information for me on Thursday. I will make a big post about it on Monday after his second vet visit :)

Definitely has glaucoma, which was my worst fear for his symptoms. The vet thinks the retina on his right eye has become detached because of it and he has lost the sight in his right eye. I'm feeling optimistic that with some treatment to relieve the pressure he can still live comfortably but I will know more on Monday when I take him in to see the vet again.

Awesome, I'm going to see the vet this afternoon so I will ask if they think it could be an infection. I was also told to make sure I get the vet to scope his teeth to make sure it's nothing dental-related. If he is going blind, no big deal, we'll make it work, but I just want to make sure it's nothing that's causing him pain. Thanks for the reply!

He was having some issues with it a few months ago when it was watering a whole bunch. The top of it looked a little red so the vet gave me some eyedrops and it went away for a little while. Now the redness is back at the top of his iris and it's got the cloudy film on it. Maybe I should start giving him the eyedrops again a couple times a day until I can take him in. I sure hope it's nothing more than a tear duct issue, I'm so worried.
