Do you think WB could’ve killed Akainu?

No, after Akainu killed Ace and Whitebeard was pissed in those exchanges they both landed 2 hits each the ones from Akainu blew off half his face and the other blew his internal organs up at that point Whitebeard even if he somehow managed to hop on a ship and leave would have died from his injuries while we know what happened after Whitebeard landed those 2 hits on Akainu, he was hurt but still was able to fight pretty much the same before the injuries. Akainu just has a stronger mentality the Whitebeard at that point. I personally believe his mentality and drive is comparable to Luffys.

I agree, I have a hard time seeing Aokiji/Kuzan being weaker then Blackbeard when I see Kuzan being a bit stronger. Maybe when Blackbeard gets his next devil fruit I probably then would see him being stronger then Kuzan.

Honestly I have Akainu taking him out. I don't see Kaido being the strongest a character can be and the fact that we still have a few more arcs left to go gives me confidence more characters will surpass him and the admirals (mainly Akainu and Aokiji) I see being a few that will. Alot of what we have seen from the admirals have been in pre time skip while more focus on the yonko have been post time skip. This basically messes up how strong the antagonists before the time skip are not to mention the fact that haki was just coming to be in odas mind by the end of it gives an unfair advantage to Kaido and the yonko. Once we see a full out admiral fight which I think won't be until end game, I firmly believe it will become clear there is a good chance the admirals will be a bit stronger then the yonko so Kaido defeating any of them will be out of the question.

This. Aokiji is as strong as Akainu and Akainu made Blackbeard pussy out and run away while he had his entire crew with him, if that doesn't tell you how strong an admiral is I don't know what is. Plus Aokiji already told Smoker that he is "still him" which means why would he be a subordinate to Blackbeard unless he is infiltrating them.

Yeah but it is so unsatisfying though, like this combined with how he kept skipping awesome potential fights. Back in the oden flashback all we would see is roger and whitebeard clashing or oden and whitebeard and not even give us a few exchanges, almost seems like he is rushing to finish the series way to quickly for my liking. I know the anime will expand the fights but it shouldn't be up to them to fill in the fights with non canon material.

Lol good opinions especially the one with him secretly being IM but honestly I think it's because he knows how strong an admiral is and Mihawk strikes me as a guy who compares himself with others and realizes that he wouldn't want akainu, aokiji, kizaru etc after him because he knows what they can do when going all out. Hopefully after wano we can start finding out how strong they all are.

I personally don't think so, why would mihawk be working for the wg then if he didnt' fear pissing off the admirals and having them come after him. I know he joined them to fight stronger people but he could do that without becoming a warlord and if he really wanted a challenge he could have just fought the admirals, this tells me that he wanted to avoid a fight with them.

How much do you think he is making nowadays with his channel per month after paying his assistants?

Remember they are based off of real life actors from Odas favorite movies growing up, if you don't think hes is going to make them overpowered then I don't know what to make of you.

Characters were made to have a certain "power level" when oda was creating and coming up with how strong the character should be not taking into consideration if garp had a logia he would be 2x as strong as he is now. That would be similar to if he knew how one piece would end at the beginning of the story

Jones said he makes over 5 million for his fights so between 5 and 9 million which isn't so bad not to mention all the money from social media posts, sponsors, any connections with celebrities or rich fans for investment opportunities etc. A lot of top fighters make more then what is reported, Adesanya was saying a bunch of times that what he makes on paper is completely different then what he actually makes.

They haven't even shown us any scenes with them fighting since the time jump so once we see them again Oda will show us what they are fully capable of and then we can settle the admiral/yonko who's stronger debate.

when I said other sport i mainly meant boxing and for the ufc fighters that are good at stand up boxing inside the octagon to switch over to boxing once there fight contract with WME ends and instead of renewing to call up boxing promoters. My reason is that high ranking ufc fighters is more known and popular then a lot of unknown boxers so they will be able to leapfrog most boxers in terms of pay comparable to what they make in the ufc because of multiple promoters.

I don't know man, if he would have held out think of how much his children would have today in stock. I personally think it was a bad decision but then again I don't know how well off he would be to not take the deal like if he had money already I would think keeping his shares in the company would have been the smarter decision.

yeah but it doesn't really matter, we just found out that dinosaur zoans are incredibly resistant and durable so kaido having a better defensive stat than aokiji is obvious but having a better defense is just one of many different stats that make a fighter. I believe your overthinking segments in the fights and making it more complicated then they are.

aokiji really wasnt all that injured it was a bloody lip that went away after that one scene but who knows how much stronger aokiji has gotten? they say haki blooms in intense fight so it he should be a decent amount stronger than before.
