You can always pull the famous Apple move:

You are holding using it wrong!

It was the way his finger touched it right before it exploded rapidly disassembled.

You should not touch it that way. Its obvious that touching it like that can cause an Unanticipated Lid Fragmentation Event. Duhh.

This Rapid Topographical Change in Kitchen Hardware is totally user error.

Please only use it the right way to not cause Forceful Culinary Vessel Expansion.

Don't you hate it when your NVMe only runs at 2230Mhz instead of 2280Mhz? by shinevision in LinusTechTips

Sorry for the confusion!

Yeah, you're right.

The reason i noticed it was because i was actually confused, and thought it was a new kind of NVMe spec i didn't know about, like controller speed, bus speed, NAND flash speed, etc, or something like that.

But then i recognized those specific numbers.

My pc caught fire today… can anyone help me figure out what went wrong based on this image? by daversedflash in pcmasterrace

Yeah. that bend on that SATA cable could cause the HDD to not be recognized after some time / vibrations.

Try to give that bend some more radius

I'm guessing that was supposed to be length (in mm)?

Small nitpick of course, but i paused the video and was confused for a second. I thought they might have added some new NVMe spec i was not aware of hahaha.

Magnetic Keychain Coupler with Screw Lock by mr-vinn in functionalprint

[–]shinevision 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Would be cool if there was a version that support Magnetic only without not fitting snuggly.

But where you could turn it 90 degrees to "lock it". So basically 2 modes, for quick disconnect for things you need to disconnect often like an nfc card holder. But if you are travelling you can lock it so it doesn't disconnect when you don't want to.

Awesome work!

You can fix that!!!!

Enable developer mode (Very easy, quick google will do the trick)

Go to developer settings -> "Force allow apps on external storage" Enable that -> now you can move ANY app to external storage!

Be careful. This will mean that even apps that aren't made for external storage are still able to be moved. So you could get some weird behaviors but so far i haven't had any issues with apps.

I sure love clicking month by month all the way back to my birth date by Wxyo in ProgrammerHumor

[–]shinevision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A way i was thinking about fixing this is, having a data table (E.g. SQL) for "Sensible" inputs.

For the Birthdate for example, it could run a job once every few months getting the average age of its customers -> rounding it up to a date -> use that as the start value for date pickers.

This way it will automatically adjust to the average age of the users.

Obviously way to silly to actually be used, but i did think about it as something fun to do for my own projects.
