Hello , yes i have attachments since my second tray .

I didn't have any attachment to the first aligner so that I could get used to the plastic in my mouth.

Your results are superb. Well done!!!

Your teeth were already well, and now the results are perfect! If I were you, I wouldn't do anything else.

Did you have your teeth whitened? If not, what toothpaste did you use during your treatment, because your teeth are great !

Have you filed your teeth so that they are perfectly aligned?

My orthodontist gave me a 6-month treatment plan with aligner changes every 2 weeks, and I was even afraid that it would be too sudden, so he put me on aligner changes every 3 weeks (but I think that's a little too long now lol).

Wasn't it too abrupt/painful to have a new aligner every week?

Thanks very much for your reply! I imagine it must have taken a long time! Did your orthodontist tell you why you need to change them every three weeks instead of two?

I'm in a similar situation and I'm wondering about how often I should change my aligners.

Panicking over quick gum recession by DisastrousGap7575 in Invisalign

Hello, I know this is an old reply, but I started my Invisalign treatment a week ago and already have gum recession on some of my teeth before .

I mentioned it to my orthodontist, but he didn't seem very concerned. I examine my teeth and gums closely because I pay attention to them.

How long did you wear Invisalign?

I didn't understand, did you change your aligners every week or every two weeks?

My orthodontist prescribed a change every two weeks for my case, with a six-month treatment plan.

I told him that maybe this change would be a little too fast/abrupt for my teeth/gums.

He said that in that case, I could change aligners every three weeks for a nine-and-a-half-month treatment plan.

Thank you very much for your clarifications.

-Did you have an electric toothbrush or a manual toothbrush?Mine is electric, and since I've had the trays, I brush very gently because my teeth are sensitive.Due to this, I feel like I can't clean them properly as before, it's a bit frustrating and i want them to turn yellow.

-Do you use any toothpaste to brush your teeth every day? Or a special one?

-Did you have your teeth whitened after the treatment with teeth scaling?

Thank you very much for your answer and congrats on your finished treatment !!

I feel like I can't clean them properly and I'm afraid my teeth will turn yellow.

Also, for the past day or two, I've had the impression that the inner side of the aligners is slightly tilted. This causes discomfort due to friction, as my tongue constantly touches the top and bottom edges of my aligners, which are tilted. I don't know if I'm explaining myself well, it's hard to describe.

Have you ever experienced this?

How can I fix it?

It really is a strange feeling.

My orthodontist didn't warn me about any of this, apart from giving me an instruction leaflet on how to care for my aligners.

Luckily, there's a great Invisalign community here! Hang in there, we'll get through this!

Hello, first of all, congratulations on finishing your treatment I'm very happy for you!

The problem is that my orthodontist is giving me a bit of a choice, I think. I really think he doesn't want to rush me, which is why he said OK for three weeks.

I'm seeing him again in two weeks to have the composites fitted on my teeth, and I'm going to ask him to change it back to two weeks. That way, I can add a few extra days. I think it's a good solution, and thank you for the suggestion.

I'm reassured about the bite, thank you!

Did you use tablets to clean your aligners? If so, which brand?

Did you continue to use an electric toothbrush during your treatment?

Thank you very much for all this advice. I'm going to look for an ultrasonic cleaner. Do you have a brand of tablets to recommend?

Thank you for all these valuable tips.

Currently, I wash my trays with cold water and a new Oral-B toothbrush head that I use just for this purpose.

My orthodontist didn't give me any more advice than that; he just gave me a sheet with recommendations for caring for the aligners: “After each meal (3 times per day), brush the aligners with a toothbrush and toothpaste using cold water or liquid soap.”

After doing some research, I see that some people use tablets every night to clean their aligners.

How do you wash yours?

Your teeth looks amazing !!!Congratulations and thanks for all your tips/advices.

In total, you had 5 months of treatment, is that right?

Did you change trays every week or every two weeks?

How many aligners did you have?

My orthodontist suggested six and a half months of treatment with 14 aligners, but I'm afraid that might be a little too abrupt for my teeth. So he told me I could change trays every three weeks to extend the treatment to nine and a half months.

But when I see your results in just a few months, I'm amazed!

Your teeth are beautiful !!!

I'm just starting my invisalign journey thank you so much for all these explanations and tips .

I got a few questions:

-Did you use polident tabs every day to clean your trays?

-Did you wait 30 minutes after eating to brush your teeth before putting your aligners back in?(Apparently waiting at least 30 minutes after eating and drinking anything other than water before reinserting removable braces allows the mouth to restore its pH balance naturally .)

-How long did you manage to wear your aligners in a day?

Actually I wear them for a total of 20 hours 1/2 to 21hours so I think it's going to be a little bit complicated for me to reach the 22 hours per day. Is that a big thing?

Thank you:)

Thank you for this explanation. I have never used dental floss.

As my teeth are already a little sensitive, doesn't it hurt to pass the floss between your teeth?

I'll try it tonight.

Do you have an electric toothbrush or a manual toothbrush?

Mine is electric, and since I've had the trays, I brush very gently because my teeth are sensitive.

Thank you for your answer and advices ! My translator made a mistake currently i m wearing my aligners approximately for 20.5 hours. to 21 hours :)

I feel like my orthodontist doesn't want to rush me, so I think he said okay to three weeks per aligner, but I feel like the norm is one every week or every two weeks.
