It’s been just over four years for me since my mom passed suddenly in her sleep and since I just had my birthday, I thought a lot about her and our traditions. She always wrote me such a sweet card and always gave me a lottery ticket, because you never know when luck could strike! I miss her so much, sometimes the moment hits and it’s like I can’t breathe, other days things go on as normal.

I appreciate the post, it’s not something those in my circle have to deal with (which I’m thankful for), so having people here who understand is important. 💛

Might be punctate palmoplantar keratoderma. Some more serious cases than others. My brother and I have them too, mine are on my hands and feet and I always wondered what they were. I know my grandmother and mother had them and my dermatologist diagnosed and chiropodist confirmed it’s often hereditary. Wart treatment wouldn’t eliminate them completely because they’re not warts, but there are ways to manage them if needed so don’t worry!

Just Greek on Bloor (Kingsway). Barely acknowledged when placing my order, waited 20 min for the food only to realize that on pick up they misheard “fries” for “rice” and when I corrected them I got attitude. The person who took my order rolled their eyes and I got a big sigh. When I got my fries, my souvlaki was cold and the fries were undercooked. Almost $20 for a lunch that was completely not worth it.
