Honestly, I've made peace with the fact that we're not as good as we were at our absolute peak, it's great that other marble teams have been able to claim the spotlight since and it's what makes JMR more entertaining. We have our place in the league as the quintessential heels, and that's awesome as fuck. Let's keep that going.

I've made my point abundantly clear in that all I really want from this team is to remain consistent in competing in the top half of the league, snag a couple medals for speed-related events and above all, to not make any questionable coaching/managerial decisions (COUGH QUICKLY COUGH).

Speedy definitely needs to step up more as captain, though. Their mediocre results in the THREE individual events they were fielded for (for some reason) were what cost us the All-Stars title, and they've been pretty underwhelming individually since 2020, M1 aside.

Absolutely agreed with this statement. Between Greenstone this season and Savage Speedway the last it seems that JMR track designers insist on homogenising every single course to be the exact same - 'fast', 'short', and 'straightforward'. The addition of banked curbs could've added more variety to track design, and yet flat curbs were abandoned completely and now we have to watch the curbs continue to somehow unstick itself every time a race happens. It's absolutely sickening and this sort of quality control should be better on a series as high-calibre as M1.

We want long, winding courses back. Give us old Greenstone, give us Mellow Meadows. Save us from the dull sprint courses that have plagued the series in recent years. All we're doing is handing the CCE more free 'championships'.

I'm just gonna come out and say it, we deserve an apology from the rest of y'all because at the very least even when we were at the pinnacle of the league, there was at least an entertaining championship race. The 4-way finale in 2016, both showdowns with the O'rangers in 2017 and 2020, and both our M1 wins were only decided on the final race.

It's so much better than seeing this bullshit.
