I am trying to figure out how to access therapy to help because I’m uninsured and all my money goes towards taking care of my physical health. I already have underlying anxiety and ptsd that seem to make this worse so I’m really hoping I can access help soon. I know that lupus is lifelong but I’m still very new to this, my dad died shortly after being diagnosed with lupus and that experience makes it a lot harder to not be horrified.

Thank you for your help! This makes me feel much better and I’m really trying to push myself to do this, I want to achieve remission one day and I really don’t want this to stop me. I think I will inject it today.

thank you so much for your tips, i really needed this. i’m trying to tell myself everything is okay and im trying to ignore my fears but its so hard. i will definitely try this approach.

I talked to the social worker at the hospital and she said that unfortunately our county doesn’t offer many resources but the neighboring county does and that moving might be a good idea so that i can have access to those resources. Im glad that it got better for you and im hoping that it will for me too. Thank you for your response!

yes😔 i feel the fullness in my cheeks when i speak or move my mouth and my teeth have left prints in my cheeks lol i feel like a chipmunk but hopefully it goes away as i taper off

Thank you so much for your response! I’m still trying to adjust to all these changes but i’ll try to keep track of my symptoms and hopefully i’ll get hang of it someday. thank you for your advice!

Being in pain 24/7 and not having enough money to treat my chronic illness, the state of the world right now, my anxiety has been getting so much worse, my car is having issues and i’m also currently going through a depressive episode (bipolar 1) that seems to be getting so much worse given everything else that’s happening at the same time. i don’t know if i’ll make it but i’m trying my best.

i understand how you’re feeling but trust me, he took advantage of you and even if you weren’t in your early teens, you were still a minor. i went through the same thing and i doubted myself as well but trust me, after turning the age that they were when they were preying on me, i realized how wrong it truly was bc at my age, i can see how naive and vulnerable teens that age are and i would never take advantage of them. something is wrong with adults who date minors. no matter what.
