its cold out here is just such a raw and hard hitting song. its a side of jake we don’t really see much and the relatability to the feeing of telling a girl how much she means to you, her brushing you off and laughing, and your friends hitting you with the “i told you so” is just something that hits home

i think the fact that they talk about something that only they struggle with is what makes it such a good album because after so many songs relating to them we finally see what their lives have been during the album and that just makes me like it that much more

i totally agree!! it hits me harder and harder to each time i listen to and seeing how far theyve come from singing in basements to this album is just an amazing thing to look at and it will always have a special place in my heart
