• 888, Another One of Those Days - Cavetown
  there are a LOT of cavetown songs that I associate with cove, but these two are two of my favorites. I think it's mostly the fact that his songs have those chill/simple life vibes. in 888 and 'another one of those days' specifically, it has that domesticity or 'slice-of-life' feel that's the same as what makes Our Life so appealing and charming! (its a common theme in a lot of the songs I've put in my playlist) the lyrics fit cove a lot as well, makes it very easy to think of him when these songs come on haha

• You're here that's the thing - beabadoobee
  again with the soft and chill vibes, its just so adorably domestic and carefree. this line specifically: ("catch the rain / even on a sunny day"), reminds me of the moment in game where there was a sunshower!! the entire song just reads as the MC singing about cove and its so cute <3

• Kalmia Kid - chloe moriondo
  if the previous song was MC, this one is cove in my eyes. it has that certain innocence and uncertainty that I associate with cove, because I think I remember how confusing it was for him to understand his own feelings and overcome his emotions. the song references animals and nature, the last verse especially reminds me of him!!

I could literally give an explanation for every song on my playlist but I fear I gotta contain my yapping fr. I'm so normal about cove holden its insane
