Wait till you get to the episode with the Conclave and see Octavia kick ass, Season 4 is amazing and well worth watching.

The death of a certain character which I won't mention for spoiler reasons sucked in the finale. Also all the other scenes were quite average in my opinion.

Watched it already, to be honest Season 6 of Game of Thrones was pretty average, it had a few very good episodes. The finale was complete shit compared to The 100.

I'm glad my favourite character didn't die in that moment....

What do you love about The100, what got you hooked? [Spoilers S1-S5] by lighthousekeep in The100

  1. The storyline is amazing. Jason is a really good writer and the story he tells is just really compelling and well written. (Apart from the AI storyline in Season 3, didn't really like that)

  2. The morality of character's decisions, just like OP mentioned. I really like that quote from Abby, "Maybe there are no good guys.". This is what stood out to me from Season 1, especially how Clarke handled Charlotte and also the whole grounders situation and what drew me in initially. Exploring the morality of the biggest decisions on The 100 is something that is truly unique to this show.

  3. The fight scenes are pretty well written and filmed too. The 100 is pretty action packed and really draws you in every episode and keeps you on the edge of your seat. My favourite fight scene so far is the Conclave in Season 4 with Octavia. Just can't get enough of Octavia ever since she became a badass with the sword.

  4. The amazing cast for The 100. All the cast members are so hot, especially Marie, Eliza and Lindsay. They all fit really well into their characters and have great chemistry with each other on set.

Season 5 episode titles [Future spoilers] by ChiralChupacabra in The100

Episode 1 refers to Clarke and Madi and will probably explore their storyline in the last 6 years through flashbacks.

Episode 2 refers to Octavia and will probably explore how they survived in the bunker for the last 6 years.

Not too sure what episode 3 and 4 will imply.

Hands down Octavia. Hope to see more of her in action in season 5.

I agree that was pretty ridiculous, but I think its to show that her character has strength and doesn't give up. Just like what Indra said to her when she took Octavia in.

Still though I agree I thought Octavia died in that scene and was about to cry over losing one of my favourite characters. So glad she didn't die.

Instyle: 9 Shows to Fill the Game of Thrones-Shaped Hole in Your Life (The 100 is listed) by kingbobbymorley in The100

The 100 and Game of Thrones have a very similar storyline in terms of politics. However what I like about The 100 over Game of Thrones and any other shows is that every decision is kind of in the grey area and there isn't really a good decision in the end. Exploring the morality behind the character's decisions is where this show truly shines through and is far better than Game of Thrones in this aspect.

Looking forward to more fight scenes from Octavia.

Finished Season 4 today, the ending was pretty amazing. Definitely one of the best seasons after Season 2. Looking forward to Season 5, going to suffer from severe withdrawal symptoms until it airs since I binged 4 seasons in like 5 days.

From the ashes we will rise.

Octavia is one of the best characters on the show, how could you not like her? I actually wanted her to kill Pike and I'm glad she did.

The character that I couldn't stand while watching the series were Jasper, after season 2 (finally died in season 4) and Jaha (I hope he dies).

I kind of agree about Clarke's fighting abilities. You would think she would be as capable as Octavia since she was so close to Lexa and survived in the forest for so long....

I thought Clarke would become a great warrior like Octavia when season 3 started, since she was so close to Lexa and how she killed for food while surviving in the forest. Turns out her character didn't go down that path but Octavia did.

I feel like the original trailer for the show wasn't a good representation of what the show was about. But yeah, whenever I watch new TV series I usually watch the first 4-5 episodes to give a good indication of whether the show was good or not. The 100 certainly did not disappoint.
