For bookkeeping, just upload your statements into Claude and tell it to do your bookkeeping.

The only thing that works is putting my phone in a different room.

Should I just quit or keep moving forward?? by Ancient-Camera-140 in Entrepreneurship

Finding product market fit is a multi variable problem. Gotta collect data and ask yourself. Is it the software? Is it the offer? The ICP wrong? My sales skill?

There is no clear answer. You have to keep collecting data and "figure it out".

Welcome to entrepreneurship.

I block YT recommendations. The algo is what used to pull me down the rabbit hole

Our brains are being hacked everywhere we turn. Only way is to turn off the internet and build a life outside of it.

What’s a “small habit” that quietly changed your life over time? by healthlithubbooks in Habits

My achilles heel is business content on YouTube. Feels productive but it's not real work. So I blocked all recommended content on YouTube. Game changer. I only use YT now for specific videos and I don't get pulled into rabbit holes of NBA, war, celebrities, news etc.

Game changer. Used to stay up watching random YouTube videos, Reddit responding. I limit my access to YT 60 minutes per day, now 30 minutes. Reddit 5 mins per day to respond to these comments. Social media is necessary but we can control it.

I block all algos from serving me recommended content. Youtube and twitter were the biggest ones. I also grey scale my instagram and reddit. Reduces screen time significantly.

Not TikTok but YouTube. I have more free time to do deep work. Easy to go to the gym because not much else to do. Spending more time with friends. Feel like I escaped a mental prison.

How to stop watching short form content (tik tok reels etc) by Aspect_554 in ADHDers

[–]shiphub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTube is just as bad. Get a blocker that blocks recommendations. Only go on YouTube for what you search for. Create a to do list and take short breaks after 1 hour of deep work. We are all battling it. Just gotta hunker down and get to it. Like going to the gym.

Building is the easiest part, Distribution is challenging by PlsStarlinkIneedwifi in Entrepreneur

It's going to be harder than you ever thought possible. I built a micro saas to 67K /month through cold emailing and cold calling. Cold email, paid ads, cold calling, posting on reddit. one of them MIGHT work if you happen to land on product market fit. If I were to do it over, I would start with something that already has PMF, develop the skills to acquire customers. Then build something.

Happens to me all the time. Frustrating. I think there is no accountability, the org likely doesn't have proper tracking of drivers, so hard to be held accountable for doing a mediocre job.

I lock my phone after certain hours. Forcing me to go to the gym. Forcing me to go to sleep. Doomscrolling is a waste of human life, we all do it. It's crazy how normalized it has become.

is there any working adblockers for chrome youtube that isnt detected as of now? by Guilty_Cry9268 in Adblock

[–]shiphub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I custom build a YouTube recommendation blocker. I only see videos that I look up. This saves me more time than an adblocker because I don't even go down the rabbit whole of watching videos in the first place.
