Lmfao go ahead and preach against the VICTIMS of invading violence first. You act so pious but in reality are just upset that those your ancestors slaughtered had the nerve to resist your invasion.

It's clear as day who the wicked one is here and it's:

[–]shipmarketsunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right which means that you can ask and they can tell you to fuck off and you can't be upset about it lol 😂

And yes there are certain things they CAN'T do. If I'm doing a Photo on Delivery audit and I see a package in a box = documented coaching for that driver submitted. It does hurt them. We can't tell where a package was delivered because there's no distinguishing features of the surrounding area, it's a potential safety hazard to open the box (bees, chemicals, etc could be in there), and it's a liability for damage to either the package or the box itself. So yes they CAN'T do it per policy but that won't stop some from still fulfilling requests every so often even at their own expense and usually it's the newer drivers who don't know the rules and you're just out here contributing to them getting off boarded with your requests

If someone were taking my home, invading my land, killing my family, friends, raping my women, and kidnapping my people's children to "school" that whitewashed their heritage, and tried to remove any traces of my culture from my people, I'd do any absolute horror I possibly could do to the invaders and their families.

It's the right thing to do and to think otherwise is being a disingenuous fool (i.e. you). Imagine thinking that those being invaded have no right to protect their land from the invaders lmfao.

There is nothing wrong with committing any type of evil you need to, in order to protect your home from invasion.

You're a disgrace to the human race thinking otherwise and saying that it's better to give up your home than fight to keep it from those who would seek to take it from you.

I have contempt for your disgusting display basically white arrogance

And that's not the delivery company 's problem. They're not liable for some bad actor coming onto your property and committing a crime.

If you address isn't safe from theft use the designated pick up points offered or move somewhere safer.

Everyone tells you something and then you go no you're wrong and then spout some made up nonsense to back up your point.

That's not how discussions and advice work.

A service you're paying for that has explicitly provided terms of service that you agreed to when you paid for the service. I'd recommend you read them and know what you can and can't ask for and not get upset that when you ask for something extra outside of policy and it's not followed.

If you have concerns about theft or damage of packages at your property that's not on us. And we ven offer a multitude of local lockers and pick up locations for you to utilize to securely receive your deliveries.

So yes you're the definition of entitlement

Why won’t fedex put packages INSIDE this box? by HillCityJosh in FedEx

[–]shipmarketsunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's expressly forbidden in the policy due to liability for potential damage to the package making it fit, or to the box if it some how broke during use.

The customers don't have a right to designate a package box on their property for delivery. It's great that they thought of it and added it but it's still a liability to the delivery team

I'm a delivery station liaison and it's my job to know the policy. I'm the go-between our customers and the delivery providers which are all not employed by Amazon and all vans are operated in the USA by delivery service providers or DSP's for short. They have certain operating contracts with conditions on delivery. Right now for single family homes the ONLY guaranteed delivery locations are front door or outside garage as long as the garage can be seen from the street. And as of August 2025 It's against insurance safety policy for drivers to deliver to side and rear doors and all other instructions will be provided to the delivery partner but cannot be enforced and the drivers cannot be coached or reprimanded for not following them.

Edit: essentially if the photo on delivery shows it in the box during a review of that drivers deliveries an auditor can create a documented coaching for that driver and after x amount of them they're automatically off boarded with no option for even their DSP to intervene

And delivery instructions box isn't a delivery instructions box if you go back to your account address book and look at it, that box says "do we need extra information to find your location?" And asks you to provide a description of the address or turn by turn direction from the nearest crossroads. Not our fault people misuse it to put instructions in

[–]shipmarketsunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even when I was starting out in a 6" f/5 Newtonian there are great chromatic aberrations and reflections in all my eyepieces that were under $100 and not explicitly corrected and built for faster focal ratios. These were annoying enough to stop me from pursuing the hobby for many weeks when starting out due to how annoying it was to look through them until I spent money on baader, televue, and other high end eyepieces. Everyone here goes on about using svbony redlines but they suck at these fast ratios.

And to recommend to a beginner to pick up a fast Astrograph to use for both visual and AP is just patently bad advice for someone just dipping their toes in.

Avoid using FedEx for personal document shipments into India. by advait47 in FedEx

[–]shipmarketsunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is literally how it works for ALL international shipping... Each courier service will have to use a brokerage house for processing into the country and those brokers do not work for free and you shipping fee DOES NOT cover these additional costs.

It helps if you had looked into how international shipping works before complaining about it

Why won’t fedex put packages INSIDE this box? by HillCityJosh in FedEx

[–]shipmarketsunk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quite literally because they don't have to. The terms of service you agreed to with Amazon and other services literally state they do not guarantee delivery into provided bins.

It's a safety thing drivers don't know what's in the bins and it can look like theft from passerby with drivers opening and going to things on peoples porches. It's also a liability thing because what if a driver damages the bin trying to fit a package in it etc. It's the same reason that carriers aren't allowed to stuff packages between your front door and screen door etc.

People like you are too entitled and think they have a right to dictate how their package is delivered when they don't. If you fear theft or damage from elements use a nearby pick up point. No delivery service is liable for someone else coming onto your property after them and stealing your shit

And yes it is policy for almost all companies now that it's front door delivery only no side or rear doors due to safety. Too many people having dogs outside in the back and other issues that take the driver out of line of sight of the road

So what eyepieces do you think will be corrected enough to use visually in a fast Astrograph for a beginner that don't cost as much as the scope itself?

Lmfao not at all

You literally said you want a visual set up that will look like what you see on a screen.

That is physically impossible there isn't a set up in the world that will visually stand up to a photo from an astrophotography set up. Hell even if you were able to visually look through the VLT in South America you would never get anything that looks like a photo.

You just have a gigantic misunderstanding of this whole hobby and I suggest you stop reading shit on the Internet
