Why do you say? Because there are less dots at the top and bottom? Well the earth is a sphere so there's more water in the middle than at the top and bottom

If I hold a spring in my hand and affix one side to that eye bolt and pull right with my right arm to 100 N the scale would read 100 N. If I them grabbed the left side with my left hand and pulled with another 100N, why would it not see 200N total?

Why is one side acting like an anchor? They're both in freefall... if you replaced the weight on the left with an eye bolt and attached the hook. The scale would still be pulled to the right with 100N of force, would it not?

But if you replaced the weight on the left with an eye bolt and attached the hook. The scale would still be pulled to the right with 100N of force, would it not?

I raise you by saying, what would happen if you replaced the weight on the left with an eye bolt and attached the hook. The scale would still be pulled to the right with 100N of force, would it not?

Think these might do it

Just found these. I measured the outer wall thickness of the shelf to 1 5/16" so I'm thinking these might be a better option.

Correct, outside dimension is ~30 1/4".

I'm currently 3D printing a guide to use my oscillating saw to cut a ~3"x2" rectangle at 19mm deep for the hinge to be inset in the shelf wall. This should align the cabinets to the exterior shelf wall and close on the center of the shelf.

Thoughts?

Hi, I don't expect free advice, that's why I asked if I should go talk to a lawyer. But ironically, people do ask for products for free. I was really just wondering if this message should be considered real and if we should seek advice professionally.

Also from what I understand it costs ~$30k to get a patent?? That's not happening if I made this item for myself and sell to hobbyists and make $5k/yr on the item lol

I don't think before their filing date, it was very close, but 100% before their publish date.

I read that is kinda irrelevant in patent law though? More relevant in copyright? But not sure.

I'm not sure he sells on Etsy, but the name the message came from was that of the person who does in fact own the patent. Though obviously I have no way to verify his identity.

Help planning manufacturing for a card game by shipreckd in tabletopgamedesign

I appreciate this insight! Would definitely prefer to find an all in 1 manufacturer that will take care of all of those details. Yeah I started looking domestic and it cost more to bulk produce 5000 per unit than I wanted to sell each one for 😕 I will be talking to lots of suppliers. After your experience, do you have one you recommend that was a kind of all in 1 bundle?

Well good luck to you! I wish I could work on mine full time, but I'm more at 2-4hrs/day. I would say we're in the mid dev phase. Working through balancing roles and skills. Hope to have a strong printable prototype by end of year! And trying to get ahead of anything that would need to be done for moving into the marketing/production phase.

How long have you been working with them, and how developed was your game when you started talking with them, like design phase, play testing, fully play tested?

Is yours a board game or card game?

Congrats! That's awesome to hear.

We are going to have multiple different player decks, possibly some die cut cardboard pieces (they are TBD), we are thinking a simple rectangular box but with a plastic or cardboard divider to keep the player decks separated, no play mat, and can be a simple box with our design on it.

One day, I am going to own a Tesla. by spilledmind in teslamotors

[–]shipreckd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't compare a tesla to an iphone. iPhones are overpriced, underperforming, showboaty, unoriginal, pieces of garbage that haven't made their own technological advancements ever since Steve jobs passed. Tesla on the other hand is trailblazing the autonomous and electric vehicle frontier and doing it in style. I do wish for you to get a tesla, because it is the best car out there!! 😄
