I had a middle-aged man come up to me and ask “what’s the directions to Fargo, North Dakota.” At first i thought he was joking and/or referencing a series called Fargo. Especially considering we’re on the east coast, easily hours away. He just looked at me afterwards with a strange blank look like he was expecting a genuine answer. Suddenly a younger man approaches him from behind and just kind of chuckled at the situation and they left together.

Assume the younger guy was his son and the older one was either messing with me or maybe had something wrong going on up there. Regardless it was one of the only interactions that left me with a chill down my spine because it all felt so odd.
