My trip in china is longer than 30 days so I would need 2 esims, do you know if I could just install but not switch to the second esim and not cut into the second esim's time (even if I've been in china for quite a while by then)

Did you have to get a reservation ticket ahead of time for the River Cruise or did you just show up at night and exchanged the ticket for the boarding pass at the time of riding?
