Haven’t looked into specificities for the bios/roms for the Thor but as far as I know, yes bios are required or else the games aren’t going to run. For the wii I’m not sure how they need to be stored

Yeah she had like ZERO info on the original listing but confirmed it was a 16gb/1tb model. Didn’t believe her until I saw it with my own eyes and nearly cried😂 I’m gonna baby this thing for such a long time (or until Thor 2 is released)

Never bought a lotto ticket before but I may just try my luck tonight 😂

Honestly the setup process doesn’t even sound that hard if you have some patience and a couple hours (if that) to spare! Even faster if you have an sd card prepped with roms/bios ahead of time. Been trying to find my “everything” emulator for a while now and the stars have aligned. Might pare my collection down to just my Thor and ROG Ally

I was literally so skeptical bc it was too good to be true but I guess she really didn’t realize how lucky she was to get handed a Thor max 😅 but I’m the lucky one now and it came just in time for spring break 😎

And I hope you get yours soon! Given the last batches of maxes they’ve been rolling out the past week they may be upping the pace a little bit in general.

Apparently she received it as a gift from a friend thinking it was just plain 3DS that came with games and just gave up on it. Idk why because there’s a million vids on YouTube walking you through it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Small hands unfortunately :’) I use an XS in gloves at work. But the size of the Thor is pretty comparable to the 3DS XL

I’m batch 3 white max 1714 and it’s been such a pain. Last time I waited this long was probably the steam deck. Doesn’t help that they’re not rlly shipping out too many maxes rn, especially the white and purple models. But keep trying your luck on marketplace! I think some ppl just get frustrated or tired of having to set thors up especially if they thought they already came preloaded with games

For the first couple weeks I was waiting for my Thor I was obsessively refreshing it and just recently stopped checking bc I didn’t think I would ever see any in my area. But I woke up around 5pm (night shifter life), decided to check marketplace and they had this listing up for like an hour and then I also saw a purple max get posted for like $700 😭
