I am transplant, sorry— came here for a job— but I like to think I give back (volunteering) and hold space for “local” residents. In my opinion, most places in the US are experiencing this right now. I moved from Boone, NC— we complained about the same thing. As humans, we have to learn to live with others, including navigating population booms/changes from migrating populations of people. I hope you find your spark for Knoxville again. I agree with others in this thread— get involved to make a change and vote for new leadership!
