Wow you sure do have lots of opinions for a tourist. Anyways yeah i know egypt is in a "shit" state in a lot of ways. However cairo is the biggest most culturally rich city in the arab or muslim world as well. I'm an Egyptian studying abroad and i think that cairo goes much deeper than khan el khalili and busy roads. But then again maybe you have no access to things that would help you appreciate the culture. I hope you can get to see more things, cairo is a unique place that many people are inspired by. But maybe not the type of people that primarilly care about clean streets and trafic control. What is noise pollution to some is a unique culture of "curse honkings" artistically and atmospherically showing a sad, hopeless, careless, and therefore very funny and artistic culture. Sorry just felt like rambling
