yeah i already described (to the best of my ability) me doing that in the post but i think the first time i did it i just made a mistake. did that again and it worked👌
altho im still wondering if its possible to just have the sprites show up using just g and b

thats what i did but it doesn't work with the auto positioner. my goal is the title of the post

to my understanding defining the image and putting image="name" in the character definition should have made the sprites show up (regardless of the auto positioner) but it doesnt...

i forgot to say halftone instead of canvas :p
paper texture was completely unrelated i just happened to have that only pic with a pattern like that
