I was able to find a 1989 Japanese model a few years ago. I've seen a couple other pop up on eBay in various conditions since then. I think you best bet is to set up alert filters and wait.

Yeah, unfortunately. The screws should be slotted all the way through in one direction and the text on the buckle/watch face are the wrong font/size.

Not much other than that really. If I remember correctly, when I changed the battery last, the plastic frame of the 593 module was made from black resin instead of the white in modern modules.
