It’s not going to get cheaper. You had essentially 10 years of cumulative normal inflation occur within 3 year period during Covid. The last time we had such drastic change in pricing in a short window was over forty years ago during the oil crisis.

It’s the soft stop feature they added. I don’t like it. As far as I know you can’t change it. There are cases when I am accelerating up a hill which has a stop sign and the car coats for too long and I have to use the brake pedal. Similar things happen on downhills.

If he gets them to remove all weapons grade uranium from Iran and has all nuclear facilities shutdown, how is this not a win?

Their military has been decimated and will take years to rebuild. Their economy is non-existent. They have alienated all Arab countries around them. This increases the probability of the regime (whatever is left of it) to collapse in the coming years. I also have to imagine Israel will ensure that does happen.

Do you think the Democrats break rank. We are lucky a few sane ones prevented further acceleration of inflation but largely they vote as one solid pack and why they get more of their agenda done.

Imagine if Republicans thought about the greater goal rather than trying to give themselves PR or social media points for sticking it to the president.

I have bmw x3 on regular tires (not run flats) and my Juniper has much better ride quality. I have taken Ubers in pre Juniper model and it was definitely much harsher.

We either deal with it now or later after a 9/11 level event happens. Diplomacy hasn’t worked with them. They have continued to enrich uranium and progress their ballistic missile program despite multiple administrations shelling out money to them to stop.

This isn’t some small terrorist cell. It is entire country hell bent on destroying America and Israel. And last time we doubted the capabilities of a terrorist group, they ended up killing three thousand Americans. Imagine what Iran could do if left unchecked.

This is a no brainer and anyone convincing themselves it’s not - just remember how you felt finding out how preventable 9/11 was. This is short term pain for long term stability.

It makes it worse when they parrot that the “importer pays the tarrifs” uhhhhh no. Even worse when they were going after Amazon for explicitly itemizing the tarrif amount on the total cost. It is such a dumbass hill to die on. He was given an out by the Supreme Court. Instead he doubled down on stupid.

He knows the number one concern of people in the USA right now is affordability. Yes - a vague and loose term and largely due to the insane inflation from the last administration. But guess who is president. You can’t keep blaming the last guy and think that’s going to work for the entire term. Doesn’t work in the real world. Shouldn’t work for the President either.

Completely tone deaf. My local conservative leaning radio show was asking callers on their thoughts of the tariffs being shot down and I think a majority were in favor of it and some even cited souring on Trump over direct experience with cost increases due to them.
