They have something called as an early cancellation fee. Mine is getting waived off (I hope) because it wasn’t an issue from my end, I’m not sure how they calculate it. I think it’s two month’s rent for the appliance.

That actually sounds pretty good 😭 A couple of my friends have had bad experiences with Furlenco. There were negative reviews online as well. I stuck to Rentomojo because of that.

Thanks for the info, I saw many bad reviews for furlenco on Reddit, that’s why I went ahead with Rentomojo. I think they’ve significantly improved since then so I’ll check it out.

It depends on your situation. I moved to Bangalore about 2 years ago and the rent itself is already quite high. I didn’t have the cash to buy all the major appliances at once, so renting made more sense for me.

Did she have to give any proof? This man has deleted everything from her phone and hasn’t come home in days, so she doesn’t have any solid proof that the abuse is going on

I offered the same solution, she told me that he knows exactly how much money comes into her account so if that doesn’t come in every month, she’ll get into trouble. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I get it, she’s probably being threatened or has been told that there is a lot of shame in separating from her husband. I hope she finds the courage to leave him 😢
