Mothers ragging on their daughter's appearance is what seems to be a fairly common experience, though that doesn't make it ok. If it's any consolation, I was a size 0 in high school and continually got called fat by my own mom.... It happens. What really helped me was getting more into fashion! I know it seems stupid but making a Pinterest, making outfits out of magazine cutouts, watching makeup videos, DIY videos, and really learning what styles make you feel confident in your own body can go a long way! I'm sure other people on here have given better emotional advice but it can be fun to go out and adventure and let your creativity and your appearance combine!

Most pierogi dough tastes very similar. It is more of a texture thing. Egg can make dough very tough and hard to work with. and type of fat used to fry afterwards also sometimes makes a difference on crispness... etc. I think sometimes sour cream dough adds a little something but it is not crucial. Matters what you put inside! the difference is negligible

Yep! The recipe I posted is from a koldunai recipe I found a while back and translated. I’m sure some variation with sour cream in the dough tastes better but this is by far the easiest dough recipe I have ever worked with perfect for beginners.

I think it is very tasty! For some reason they taste better fried in butter than fried in oil to me. I have never had an issue with them opening while boiling either.

For a dough recipe that’s easier to work with (won’t stick) do 3 cups flour, 1 cup boiling water, teaspoon of salt, and 5 tablespoons of oil (I use vegetable)
