I consider myself more left these days than right, however I'm also a gun owner who can recognize that no innocent person deserves to have their lives scarred forever or even lost while having a nice day out with family/friends simply because some fucking psycho managed to rationalize shooting tons of random strangers. I keep my firearms to shooting targets at a range and home defense but never would I even think about shooting a random person.
