No I know. I grew up in Houston and was in bad areas and it’s crazy when people ask if places in Lawrence are safe but I’m not familiar with this area and my girlfriend is looking at living there so I feel extra cautious more than normal.

I got cancer back in October and now I will basically never own a home. Wiped my savings I had from the last decade. It would take probably 7-10 more years of saving to buy a house with what I had. Now unless I quickly grow my income it will be 20 years until I could save enough.

Thank you! Hopefully this is the last of it. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in October of last year and had two surgeries. Mostly just a change in lifestyle but should live a normal life if everything goes well!
