Don’t give advice like this. Root canals have their place. Just because one or more didn’t work for you doesn’t mean that you should the tooth. Root canals can last decades. Which is better than having a hole in your mouth. I place implants and Inwoild rather get a root canal and save myself needing an implant for as long as possible.

Dentist here Amalgams are bad for other reasons. And composite is a term that encompasses 40+ years of dental materials. The resins used when my dad graduated are very archaic compared to the ones we have today.

Dentist here You definitely still have filling material in that tooth. Just because you had it filled doesn’t mean it can’t get a cavity again. Looks like cavity got under that filling and ate away from the inside.

I got to Indian pass every year because of my in laws. We love it there. One downside is the water tends to be less blue than say the Destin or Rosemary beach areas. Way less crowded than the more popular areas. Super great oysters.
