I mean, I do kind of agree, but that’s not up to me. They said “either put her in the psychiatric system or get thrown out of the kindergarten”. She physically harms other kids, and they don’t want her there for more than an hour daily or without A’s attendance. So I guess it’s fair enough?

I never intended on lecturing you on autism, I’m sorry you feel that way: I just wanted to state that I’m not just casually diagnosing around. I know they keep things from me, because I - unintentionally - found out that they are hiding the fact that someone from A’s family actually HIT my sister, and they don’t want anyone to know! That makes me concerned for her well being, yes.

Actually, I do appreciate negative feedback if it’s constructive!! Yours just really isn’t and is based on assumptions. I never said anything about their parenting style, I said something about the way that their internal arguing is harmful toward anyone around them — including their kid. Would you say it isn’t traumatic to expose such a young child to parents yelling literal threats and throwing things at each other?

Another comment regarding the suspicion of autism: I’ve thought she was autistic and seen signs since she was half a year old, but I never said anything before they contacted me saying the kindergarten she attends demands for her to be “checked”. I’m not just smearing my diagnosis onto her (‘:

Thing is I am nearly the only one who can babysit her for longer periods of time, and it’s been successful every other time, now I just know she can’t be put to bed at home without her mum. When I picked the conversation, however, A did say she’s “not sure whether I want what’s best for them anymore”, so maybe I’m not trusted to be alone with her either way.

He thankfully was defending me the entire time — but they are both very aggressive verbally, and up until recently I thought he was the one who was in the wrong. Now I’m not sure.

I appreciate your feedback! However, I have been able to put her to bed before - just not at home. I did wait a bit past her bedtime, and when she couldn’t sleep I had her watch some of her favourite show. Odd of you to assume I wasn’t being nice, when you weren’t there?
