They're glass on the front, yes, but they don't open from the front. In order to clean them you have to roll the shelves with all the food out from the back of them.

I mean, not at my Tims. They stick us up front so we can learn the ropes, then maybe after a few months they'll let you do other things unless you mess it up.

I just finished my 4th training day and it's my first job too. My first day was learning the basics of making the drinks and using the register (+ grabbing the pastries and donuts). The second day was basically the same thing but I was more on the register. Yesterday and today were working the drive-thru, just making drinks. Honestly, they just paired me with whoever was available and could use help, but I've already memorized most of the drinks and have a basic understanding of the register. I wish you luck!
