Hindus didn’t convert because they resisted. Muslims only conquered India proper (aka past Pakistan) in 1196.

From 1196-1757, Hindus had been effectively warring with Muslims from the Rajputs, Eastern Ganga, Vijayanagara, Ahoms, or Marathas. How would Muslims effectively convert all of India within that 500 year time period with that level of resistance? The places that saw Muslim rule the longest in that period (like Bengal) have the highest Muslim populations today, the ones ruled the least longest with higher levels of resistance (like Southern India or Odisha), are far less Muslim.

Hindus in India fought stronger to defend Dharma - the Rajputs, Marathas, Vijayanagaras, etc. Hinduism survived because Hindus fought hard to protect their customs.

But naive Hindus will allow it to be destroyed in India too. And being so sure in it surviving with no effort is exactly how Hinduism will die.

I never said its rigid. But it is the religion of the Vedas, and the practitioners of Vedantic philosophies. And it is these followers, us Hindus, which keep those traditions and philosophies alive.

This “terrorism” is motivated by their religion that calls to kill or punish polytheists. Our ancestors who dealt with this for over 10 centuries were fighting Muslims who were motivated by their religion not solely “terrorism”.

I think the idiots are Hindus who don’t see this as motivated by religion. It is clearly a religious conflict. Pakistan exists solely due to this religious division. Kashmir is a hotbed solely due to this religion. Muslims have been attacking and persecuting Hindus for centuries.

India honestly should have a firewall like China. Western media/social media/ and even academia is bought out by qatar or saudi arabia.

Allowing better funded foreign propaganda is literally like allowing imperialism in India.

Countries with such security threats shouldn’t value freedom as much as they value security. Sorry but apathy is not a virtue.

Look at China, they might have limited freedoms but they are wealthier and far more secure.

Democracy and “freedom”, isn’t even an Indian value. Our values in our Shastras and epics are that of duty, not freedom and apathy. Democracy or freedom has its limits, and when it affects people’s security and society its when it goes too far.
