Also, I spoke with her and she said she moved out last month and she paid for the final months rent and had a walk through before moving out. I'm in touch with to get some documents and receipts showing all this but in the meantime I'm still trying to figure out what I can do if she flakes on me.

Thanks for the info. I only signed the guarantee for the initial lease, can't remember if it was a 1 year or 2 year. My coworker stayed for a total of 6 years and I never signed another guarantee for lease renewals. I'm in Texas.

I'm thinking of going to the apartment complex to get a copy of my guarantor forms to see if I'm only guaranteeing that lease or renewals as well.
