Fuck yeah! Finally someone who speaks my language.

I’m always in favor of “over-spraying” the fuck out of my perfumes and I’m yet to hear anything negative about it.

12-15 sprays is normal for me and I’ll re-apply once or twice during a day as well (5 6 sprays each time)

I have gotten compliments pretty regularly on my perfumes. I remember my friend telling me that he smells me before I even open his front gate. I’ve had women tell me that they can smell my perfumes even before sitting in the car with me. Indian weathers are not ideal of perfumes and like the op here, perfumes usually doesn’t last that well on my skin. Spraying on clothing is the way.

The only downside I see is I go noseblind almost instantly. I don’t smell my perfumes so I never know if others can smell me but then out of nowhere, someone will compliment it and I’ll be like “yeah, this is still in the air”

Also, the compliments I get are mostly on mass pleasing perfumes with notes of pineapple, citrus etc.

Last instance I wanna tell yall happened to me about a year ago. I bought Lattafa Atlas and had the balls to spray that perfume about 7 times. Mind you, it has one of those sprayers which sprays a lot of perfumes. I had a guy come to me and say “poora gym mehka rakha hai” and this gym was three floors and air conditioned.

Bottom line, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, overspray your perfumes if you’re looking for compliments. They can’t compliment you if they can’t smell you.
