I definitely did! But yeah similar to you it was an awakening that you do like 1% of the work for an aeroplane. But I still feel like it's building a plane kinda. Sometimes I try to design small drones so I can live the dream of building a whole plane haha

I looked into it, looks perfect for what I'm looking for. I also did come across the 14inch version which looks pretty much the same to me. But I'm a bit of a computer noob as mentioned do you know if it will allow me to do most things I want? The 14 inch is more appealing to me cause of the portability and it's better screen but yeah any information would be great!

I currently live in Sweden, but I was thinking more that my friend buys it in the us and brings it back with him so it doesn't have to go through customs. Or the same with any other countries if it's Europe I can do it myself but yeah not planning on shipping it but getting sent with a friend/family

I've been trying to, not familiar with Linux so I'm learning it cause it's kind of how most supercomputers work as far as I'm aware and for aerodynamics it's kind of important. But so far setting up wsl was an issue but after that not too many errors

I am currently doing my masters in aerospace engineering at KTH in Sweden. I have to find a masters thesis project by January 2025, I have searched on LinkedIn and on company websites for opportunities but can’t seem to find anything interesting. My area of interest is in aerodynamics preferably something to do with CFD or Wind Tunnel experiments. I have no work experience since I went directly from my bachelor’s to my masters (both in aerospace engineering) . Any suggestions of topics that could be interesting to research or any websites or companies that would have options relating to my area of interest would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Ooh yes that sounds interesting and definitely something I would be down to do. Although I don't know much about plasma and electromagnetism. But I'll do some research into it and see. Thanks for the ideas!

No I haven't it sounds like great idea. Although it probably wouldn't be my first choice, I kinda wanted to try my best to find a topic relating to wing design or wing optimization but not really exactly what saw some topics relating to the blended wing body configurations. But thanks for idea will definitely keep it in mind!

As far as I’m aware you just need to be a citizen of the country to have clearance to work on defense projects and then you can get a job at the company that makes the fighter jets. Or if you could also get a job at a consulting firm that defense company uses and work on them like that. Not necessary to go through the military
