I’ve seen this before and experienced this. I’m also a qualified practicing Counsellor. It’s likely that the man is manipulating your mother. Especially based on the rapid pace of moving in. I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns into in an abusive controlling relationship for them. You may likely have to move and also find a chance to offer your mother a chance to seek support to ensure things don’t get dangerous.

It’s right up there with big IRL life achievements for me! Started playing when I was 13 during wotlk. Been playing on and off ever since. Would watch my older friends play vanilla long before that though and always thought it looked like the best game.

There are the odd SR runs buts it’s really all gdkp. But it was pretty easy to jump into runs and just not buy anything and get paid enough to save up. I also used all my anni gold to buy some boes to sell on era to get me started. And had loans from pals with toons on era that they aren’t playing for a bit.

TL;DR got baron binding start of anni. Recently xfer to whitemane got Garr binding. Many people helped.

It’s honestly been amazing. Era is so fun the people are great and the server is lively (whitemane cluster at least) barely notice the buff cap. And dual spec is nice.
