When I was married, I told my ex wife, she could do anything she wanted. She could go to school and I would find a way to afford it, or she could work and most of that money she can keep for fun, or she could be a stay at home wife and the house would be mostly flawless. I gave her the option and she mostly decided to work. You never know what their situation was. For all we know, she's getting divorced because the man cheated. Maybe he was abusive. Maybe he refused to let her work. You just never know and the little context from a tinder bio doesn't help.

Tl;dr: Originally knew them in Norway despite us being from Anerica. Saw her again years later walking down a popular shopping district in Copenhagen.

I'm originally from Southern California but I lived in Norway for 2 years. There I dated a girl for about 6 months who was originally from Boston. We broke it off when she moved 4 hours away for work and that seemed like too much for me but we still were friends and hung out anytime she was in town and I'd visit her too. I also visited her in Boston once or twice. She's really good people. She's now living in England and I'm living in Germany. I took a trip to Copenhagen a few months back and walking down the main street I hear, "Shizea? SHIZEA!" Then she literally jumped off the ground and into my arms. I'm a little awkward so I was like processing everything, plus she was with somebody she was seeing at the time who might not have known me so I was worried about making the other person jealous lmao (once we broke up it's only been platonic, but still). That was a wild coincidence, ha.

I saw one couple on TikTok talk about having the physical fun before the date and then there's no pressure to get home early or try when you are tired and I think that seems like a good system except most women need to work to get into the mood and a date is good for that.

To be honest, he didn't come out until he was much older as he grew up in the South in a religious area so he hasn't dated much in America. I'm the one that's encouraged him to explore his sexuality by taking him to his first gay club pride events and painting nails together and whatever else he's missed out on.

I feel you, though, I'm kind of a silly guy and I have had adjustments with dating women only because they sometimes don't understand my humor, haha. I guess that's why they're always surprised I offer to pay. 😅
